Terms of Service

LEGATUS is a browser strategy game offered free of charge, as-is, for personal entertainment. Features may change, and matches, lobbies or the service itself may be interrupted or discontinued at any time.

Signing in is optional and handled through Google. You are responsible for the account you sign in with and for the display name you choose. We may suspend access to accounts used for abuse, harassment, cheating or attempts to disrupt the service.

Do not manipulate game state, automate play against human opponents, exploit bugs, scrape the service, or interfere with other commanders' matches. Match writes are validated server-side; forged states are rejected and repeated attempts may end your access.

LEGATUS — including its name, rules text, card designs, artwork, narration and code — is the intellectual property of Otto Tasnadi. You may print and use the Print & Play PDF for personal, non-commercial play. Any commercial reproduction, resale, redistribution or derivative product requires prior written permission.

Feedback, display names and other content you submit must be lawful and inoffensive. By submitting feedback you allow us to use it to improve the game. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

The game is provided “as is”, without warranties of availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost data or lost matches. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence.

These terms are governed by Romanian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights you enjoy in your country of residence.

We may update these terms; continued use after the date above means you accept the current version.
